American President Trump again and again calls COVID-19 a “Chinese virus”. His March 18th tweet went saying “I always treated the Chinese Virus…” Then again he justified his “Chinese virus” terminology during a press conference on the same day. Again on March 19th he vigorously defended his use of the term “Chinese virus”.

His justification for calling COVID-19 a “Chinese virus” is that it came from China.

By his definition, should we call AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) an American Virus?

By his definition, should we call Mad Cow disease a Canadian disease?

AIDS was first clinically discovered in the United States of America in 1981. Mad Cow disease was spreed by feeding non-vegetarian food to a vegetation animal in Canada.

The appearance of any living thing in nature, whether it be a tiny virus or gigantic dinosaurs, is very well in nature’s control. Human behavior may have some influence in the spreading of it. If the consumption of wild animals caused the spread of the novel coronavirus in China, then scientifically prove it. On that suspicion, China already try to control the consumption of wild animals in the country.
